Many come shopping and others to enjoy their architectural jewels, jewels that from our point of view are really exquisite. We will start with two examples to taste the best views of the city, the Alcazaba and the Gibralfaro Castle. From the castle I would keep the views and the Alcazaba as a whole.

Near the Alcazaba is a Roman theater in excellent condition and not far from there the Malaga Cathedral, another building of great beauty. Last but not least, a museum dedicated to one of the most famous figures in the city, Pablo Picasso.

4 Caminito del Rey

Since its reopening in 2015, the success of king's way It has not stopped growing and is today one of the main attractions of the province of Malaga. The king's path is a different hiking route than we can expect. It runs through a narrow canyon formed by the Guadalhorce river and which can be crossed by wooden walkways for almost 3 kilometers.

Its existence is due to the construction of a water channel between the reservoirs at both ends of the canyon. In order to undertake such a structure, a parallel road to the canal had to be created, exploited years later with a tourist objective.

Today the total route is of 7.7Km2.9km above the canyon on a completely linear without needing a great physical condition to perform it. This is not a big problem because there is a bus service between the two entrances.

5 Nerja Cave

Like the rest of excursions, the Nerja cave It is located outside the Costa del Sol but within the province of Malaga. Discovered like so many others by accident, it is a cavity almost five kilometers long to overflow with stalactites and stalagmites, of which a third door is open to the public.
